motherhood is hard, but not lonely
We are a local chapter of MomCo (The Mom Community), which exists to meet the needs of every mom—urban, suburban, and rural moms, stay-at-home and working moms, teen, single and married moms—moms with different lifestyles who all share a similar desire to be the very best moms they can be!
We are better together. Whether you need a friend to compare stories with, a shoulder to lean on (and sometimes to cry on), or ideas to help you become a better mom—Beaverton MomCo is the place for you! Come join us and know that you are not alone on your mothering journey.
We welcome all people, regardless of color, gender, religion, ethnicity, sexual orientation, socioeconomic status, and nationality.

2026-2027
CALENDAR
Our meetups
2026-27 MomCo Meetups will meet once per month on the first Thursday of the month from 6:00-8:30PM, at St. Matthew Lutheran Church.
Childcare will be available for those who need it at all meetings (registration required).
Meetings are limited to those registered with The MomCo of Beaverton.

What can I expect at a monthly meetup?
Meetups typically start with an opening prayer followed by a 3-5 minute spiritual devotional from one of our members. Afterwards, we have a potluck and time to catch up with the other moms at your table before our guest speaker or activity and some discussion time.
We close with announcements and a prayer.

We are proud to offer childcare at our meetups with highly trained and skilled nursery workers.
Every KidsCo employee is interviewed, employed by SMLC (St. Matthew Lutheran Church), background checked, and safety trained on the church’s policies, procedures, and identifying and reporting child abuse. The church also provides CPR and First Aid certification to all KidsCo staff.
Cost will be ~$25 for the year for one child. Additional children are $5 up to $40. (example: 3 children $35)

Frequently
Asked
Questions

What is The MomCo?
The MomCo stands for The Mom Community. We connect moms and meet together to laugh, cry and embrace the journey of motherhood. MomCo groups are rallying women to be more honest, to feel more equipped, and to find their identity by journeying alongside one another.
Who can be in The MomCo?
The MomCo of Beaverton is open to ANY mother of children, pregnancy through 6th grade who live in Beaverton and the surrounding areas. .
Is The MomCo Religious?
Yes, both The MomCo International and MomCo of Beaverton are Christian organizations. Here at MomCo of Beaverton we strive to make everyone comfortable and welcome. All faiths (including those with no faith) are welcomed and encouraged to participate in our group.
Our meetings start with a prayer and a devotional from someone in the group (those leading this are only those that are comfortable doing so, we would never ask someone to lead or participate in something not reflective of their own spiritual comfort). Member and leaders also ask each other how we can pray for each other in our personal lives with a hope to deepen our friendships and bonds.
What does the registration fee cover?
The MomCo International charges a membership fee of $37, which we pass onto our members. You will receive an amazing quarterly magazine from The MomCo with your membership! The annual fee also covers: speaker fees, leadership training, zoom membership, software memberships, printing supplies, office supplies, name tags, supplies for meals (main protein, napkins, plates, cups, cutlery), coffee and creamer, end of year party, support for local moms, amongst other things.

What if I need to cancel my registration?
If you need to cancel, please contact us at momcobeaverton@gmail.com as soon as possible so that your spot can be opened up for another mom. Thank you!
Where are meetups held?
Meetups are held at St. Matthew Lutheran Church (10390 SW Canyon Rd, Beaverton OR 97006), in the Courtyard Fellowship Hall. Enter through the church double doors and turn left to enter the fellowship hall. A welcome table will be setup near the entrance to guide to you the fellowship hall. If you have any questions, look for anyone wearing a “The MomCo Beaverton” T-shirt and they can help direct you to your table or answer any questions!
How are moms connected throughout the year?
You will be assigned to a table for the year, and each table will have a designated Table Lead who helps lead conversations, reminds us of playdates, mom’s night out, and other events, and is there to make sure every mom feels welcome! We also have Mentor Moms who are there to provide additional support. During some meetings there will be larger group ice breakers and opportunities to connect with a ‘sister table.’ Additional opportunities to connect with moms include attending playdates, mom’s night out, and other social events! These are great opportunities to meet moms from other tables.
What if the year has started? Can I still register?
Yes! Reach out to us at momcobeaverton@gmail.com and we will give you a prorated cost for the year based on the remaining events. We hope to meet you soon.
